I've been obsessed with Sun Wukong's journey since i first read about him 10 years ago, so i wanted to take a shot and make a version of him as a character design challenge.
This is a nod to the part of his story where the company completes their journey and recieve the title of "Victorious Fighting Buddha".
I like to think that he went on to settle and became a pacific and protective buddhist guardian in the forest.
